6 Starbucks Shops in Quezon City that are Ideal for Studying


For some people, it can be difficult to study and do school work at home, especially if your comfy bed is right there in the corner just waiting for you to lie down. That is why in Metro Manila, coffee shops are popular among students who are looking for an environment where they could optimize their productivity. Aside from their well-lit and air-conditioned spaces, these shops also offer coffee beverages that would surely stimulate the brain while finishing those long readings.

Some coffee shops, however, are a bit more student-friendly than others. In this article, we list down six of the most student-friendly Starbucks branches in Quezon City that are spacious and that provide free wifi and/or electricity outlets for their customers.

This is the go-to study place of most UP and Ateneo students who like to study until the wee hours. Aside from its proximity to the mentioned schools, it also has a very spacious parking area so it is convenient for those who have cars. Just make sure to bring a thick jacket with you if you plan to stay long because their AC is insane here.

Starbucks West Triangle

Located at the corner of West Avenue and Examiner Street, this is one of the biggest Starbucks branches in Quezon City. And currently, it is the only branch that provides a drive-thru option in QC.

Starbucks UP-AyalaLand Technohub

Opening Hours:
Weekdays (6:30AM to 3:00AM)
Sat (7:30AM to 3:00AM)
Sun (8:00AM to 3:00 AM)

Located in an area surrounded by BPO companies, this is probably one of the Starbucks branches in QC with the latest closing time. However, it can get crowded since there's a lot of nearby offices, so make sure you avoid their break times. These offices usually have 1-hour breaks that start at 12 noon and at 12 midnight.

Starbucks Reserve Tomas Morato

Mon-Thu, Sun (7:00AM to 3:30AM)

Located in one of the most busy streets of QC during nighttime, this big Starbucks shop has been the tambayan place of the customers of nearby bars and spas. Fortunately, it is spacious inside so it is quite easy to find a table even during rush hours.

Starbucks Centris

Everyday (6:00AM to 1:00AM)

Also located in one of the BPO hubs in Quezon City, this is one of the newest Starbucks shops in the area as of writing. Rising 2 storeys above ground, this shop is spacious enough to accommodate a few couches, coffee tables, and a big collaboration table at the center of the second floor. It is also very accessible as it almost just right beside the MRT - Quezon Avenue Station.

Starbucks Katipunan

This is also one of the go-to places of most UP, Ateneo, and Miriam students due to its proximity to these schools. However, they close at 11PM so it can be quite unfortunate for those who plan to study long hours.
